About Trixie ~
Start your journey together! Apply now. Trixie is currently in a loving foster home and, while you won’t meet him until you’re approved, his foster family can provide great insight once you’re connected. Your first step in the adoption process is to submit an application, only pre-approved adopters can have a meet-and-greet. The rescue’s volunteers handle all applications, so some patience is appreciated as they balance their time. Please note that there is no public visiting facility—Russell Rescue dogs are fostered throughout Middle Tennessee, and approved adopters will need to travel to the region, as dogs are not shipped or transported. The adoption fee for Trixie covers essential vetting including spay/neuter, important vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), a heartworm check, and a microchip, so you can feel confident he’s ready for his next chapter.
