Meet Sebastian - the handsomest, most loving little baby in the whole world looking for his forever family! We transport our kitties to adopters in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest! **Cost is included in Adoption Fee.** - Sebastian's adoption fee is $315. - Tolerates other cats, but will "bap" when they get too close for comfort. - Some teeth removed, his mouth does not affect his eating or drinking at all and has no negative impact on his health! --- Sebastian has not had an easy life, but you'd never know it by his amazing personality! He was loved once and had a family for over 6 years before they abandoned him at an apartment complex in Houston. While he was outside on his own, Sebastian had a severe allergic reaction to fleas and got what is called a "Rodent Ulcer" on his lip. This is a lesion that gets inflamed and can turn into a deep, ulcerated sore. When he was first rescued, his lip injury was much worse (as you can see in the last photo with the peppermint background). He has gotten the veterinary care and love that he needs and has healed up perfectly! He did have to have some teeth removed as well due to some unrelated mouth trauma. Sebastian's rescuers did have his lip biopsied and -- good news! -- it is not cancer. It is likely that his little lips will just be this way for the rest of his life. It does not affect Sebastian's everyday life at all though: he can still eat wet and dry food, and has proven he can scarf down treats with no problem ;-) Despite being abandoned, Sebastian is a very loyal guy who just wants to be around His Humans whenever possible. He enjoys being held and curling up on chairs around the house. He does play a little bit, but at his age he is definitely more interested in getting attention from people than anything else. Sebastian is what we would call a "social butterfly"! When anyone comes to the door, he is the first one to run up and say hello. Not a shy guy at all! He's also not shy about gently asking for attention. He will gently paw at your leg if he's feeling a little left out -- he's very dainty about it, and it's really just a little reminder tap in case you forgot he was nearby and looking for love! --- Sebastian is ~7 years old, in great health, neutered, microchipped, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is a forever home! He tolerates other cats but is not looking to cuddle or play with them. If they get a little too close he will give them a quick smack, but does not get aggressive or pick fights.
