When I turned up “heavily” pregnant although I was a five-month-old kitten myself, I was taken inside until I delivered my litter of five. Like hot potatoes, my little family bounced around to the homes of several neighbors, but each one couldn’t keep us long-term for one reason or another. Yes, “it took a village” until we finally landed in the safe haven of our Foster Meowmy’s home, and she’s promised to find us all wonderful families through HOPE. Although there are no dogs or kids, I fit in nicely with the resident cats, and I’m pleased to say that I’m completely comfy when kids handle me at adoption events.
