Michaela is a 4-year-old sweetheart with the most incredible spirit. She is mostly blind and can only see shadows due to a condition that affected her eyes early in life. Because she didn’t receive proper care before, her eyelids and retina had fused, causing discomfort and infections. Thankfully, she was able to get her a successful blepharoplasty surgery, and she is now comfortable and thriving. Over the past two months in foster care, Michaela has truly blossomed. She is: • A total lap cat who loves affection • Calm, gentle, and easygoing • Playful and curious in her own way • Perfect with the litter box • Quiet and content (she doesn’t cry or fuss) Don’t let her limited vision fool you—Michaela is incredibly adaptable.
