Jefferson Pound, Lake Hopatcong, NJ Let's call this one FIV is NBD! Because a cat being FIV+ is No Big Deal...at least not like it used to be. Ramona is very friendly and once you start petting or brushing her she will not want you to stop! And I have to tell you this because she will look as tho she does NOT want you to pet her. She will likely be lying on her shelf like you see in the pic here. And so I am telling you that despite what it looks like, if you slowly reach in to pet her she will be very happy. In fact, when I spend time petting and brushing her she stands up (!) and turns around and rolls over and goes thru all sorts of gyrations because she is so happy! I'm always afraid she will roll herself right off that shelf! Ramona is just one of those cats who may not "show" very well if someone just walks into the pound not knowing what she's like, so consider yourself fortunate that you are reading this right NOW and can go to the pound knowing that there is a very affectionate and lovable cat named Ramona just waiting for someone to stop by and see her!
