Meet Zorro & Tani — a gentle giant and his brave little guide, looking for a forever home together. Hi, we’re Zorro and Tani. Our story started in Fresno, where we were left behind when our people moved away. We didn’t understand why—but we held onto each other, and we still do. Zorro here...I’m the tuxedo in the duo. I may look big, but I’m really just a soft, gentle soul. The first time I met my foster, I ran right up like I already knew them. I love love—laps, hugs, being close to my person. Sometimes I’ll even wrap my paws around your shoulders or curl up behind your neck (I forget how big I am). I’m a quiet, observant guy, and I can be a little shy in new places. But when I see Tani being brave—or if you bring out a toy—I find my courage and join in. I love to play (especially with toys I can hug), and I’m very entertained by my own reflection. I’m also very polite. At the vet, in the car, anywhere really—I’m gentle and never scratch or bite. I just like to take things slow and feel safe. And I’m Tani...I’m a dilute calico—and yes, I do like to chat a little. I’m the explorer of the pair, always curious and ready to check things out first. I love people, I love attention, and I especially love being near Zorro. If I can’t find him, I’ll call out until we’re back together again. I have a very gentle way of asking for things—I’ll tap you softly (no claws!) when I want attention. I love rubbing against you, being held, and watching the world from your arms. I’m playful too—give me a wand toy or something that moves, and I’m all in. Together, we love to chase each other, wrestle, and play—it’s one of our favorite things. When I wasn’t feeling well after surgery, Zorro stayed right by my side, comforting me. We really are a team. We both enjoy a calm, indoor life—sunny windows, cozy spots, and a steady routine. We can be a little shy at first, but once we feel safe, our sweet, loving personalities really shine. We’d do best in a home where we can be your focus, with a patient human who understands that we just need a little time to settle in. We’re gentle, affectionate, playful, and very bonded—which means we’re looking for a home together.
