Meet Ruthie! Ruthie is a smart, active tabby girl who loves to stay busy. One of her favorite activities is running on the cat wheel — she’s got energy to spare and enjoys a good workout! She’s also the first to explore the backyard, always curious to see what’s happening outside, but she comes right back in when it’s time to settle down. Ruthie is affectionate and loves being brushed — her soft fur makes it an even sweeter experience. She’ll say “hi” back if you greet her and, while she’s on the quieter side, she’ll happily respond to your attention. Like many independent cats, Ruthie is still learning to trust fully, but she shows a clear willingness to connect and play. She’s curious, adventurous, and has a lot of love to give once she feels safe. Ruthie currently lives with other cats but can be a bit territorial at times — what she really wants is a forever home where she can feel secure and know she belongs. After being moved from house to house over the past year, she’s ready to finally settle into the loving, stable home she deserves.
