About Nash
Meet Nash! Nash may have had a rough start, but we’re making sure that’s not how his story ends. He was found alone, wandering the streets of Houston, Texas which is something we sadly see far too often. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan stepped in, and now Nash is safe in a foster home with our rescue. Still just a puppy, Nash is learning the ropes of home life. He’s currently working on potty training and doing great with crate training. He’s being fostered alongside dogs of all ages and sizes plus two house pigs and even a rescued goat! So, needless to say, he’s getting plenty of socialization! Like many herding breeds, Nash does show some herding instincts, but he’s easily redirected and eager to learn. He’s very food motivated and already looks to his older foster siblings for guidance, which is helping him build confidence and good habits. Nash would thrive in a home with another well-balanced dog who can continue to show him the way and be his built-in best friend. Due to his herding tendencies, a home with older children is recommended. Nash is approximately 3 months old, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Nash is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas but is available for transport to many locations across the country. His adoption fee of $600 includes his transport fee.
