Red Rover is a 4 year old Redbone Coonhound that is playful, loving, and full of life. He is the perfect partner for someone who enjoys adventure, fresh air, and the loyal companionship of a true hound; he is ready to run by your side, relax at your feet, and be your best friend through it all. Red enjoys walks and hikes and approaches them with enthusiasm and purpose, always eager to lead the way with his nose guiding the journey. Red gets along well with other dogs once he has had a proper introduction and is reactive towards other dogs when leashed. He does prefer the company of older children or an adult only home. In good weight at 84 lbs, Red is cratetrained and housetrained. He is also food-motivated, making training engaging and rewarding. He listens closely to his people and loves having a job, especially if it comes with a tasty treat at the end.
