Augustus is a 5 year old Black and Tan Coonhound waiting on Long Island for his forever home after being picked up as a stray. He is at a good weight at 65 pounds and is full of love and snuggles. Augustus is a very happy pup that wants nothing more than to be next to his person or family members, he doesn't want to miss anything! He loves frozen peanut butter bones, soft blankets and being tucked in for sleep time. Augustus is cratetrained, housebroken, and is an excellent sleeper. He does well riding in the car, although he does get excited about the adventure. Augustus is good on a leash and loves stopping to sniff the whole world while on a walk. He is food motivated and will jump excitedly as his meals are getting prepared. Augustus loves everyone he meets and would love a doggie playmate in his new home. NO cats, please..
