This sweet boy is sociable and growing in confidence each day. He is very vocal and isn't shy about asking for attention, whether its his adorable meowwwww or doing figure eights around your feets! Darek is looking for a home filled with his favorite wand toys, warm sunbeams to recharge, and lots of quality time with his special person. He has not met dogs or children, but with proper introduction we think he would do ok. He's incredibly food motivated and loves churus, wet food, kibble, treats of any kind really. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
