She is a happy girl who greets you with a loud meow, almost as if to say "it's time for us to snuggle". She enjoys beds to snooze in, fa lap to relax on, and a covered cave just for her to keep an eye on things or if her arch nemesis, vacuum, comes out. Fudgy is a great addition to just about any home who is looking for a lovable companion. She gets along with other cats and while she has not met dogs or children, with proper introduction she should do just fine. Once an outdoor kitty, Fudgy is happy to be inside and spend all her 10 lives with you! About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
