About Butch

Your new best friend is just one click away. Butch came to the shelter as a stray, and while his past is a mystery, his heart is pure gold. He’s an endearing older gentleman who might have some vision challenges, but that certainly doesn’t dampen his spirits or slow him down. Though he’s strong on a leash, Butch is truly a gentle giant at heart—a big baby who quickly wins over everyone he meets. He’s captured the hearts of the shelter staff, and it’s easy to see why. Butch isn’t much of a barker, but he is happily vocal, letting you know when he craves attention or a bit of extra love. Butch will be neutered and fully vaccinated before heading to his forever home, though foster-to-adopt is an option for those ready to commit to his care and neutering agreement. Once you meet him, you’ll understand why he’s become such a favorite, and you’ll surely fall in love with his sweet, dignified presence. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
