Hi! I'm Winston Churchill. I am living in a foster home so you won't find me at MHS! If you'd like to adopt me, your second step will be to email pets@michianapets.org. Your first step is to read all about me and see if I may be a fit for you! I love when people come to the house to visit. Making friends is something I am great at! Sometimes I like dart out the door (which isn't always super safe for me!), so please make sure to keep me safe when doors are being opened. When it comes to dogs, kids and cats...I do alright with some dogs. Any other dogs in the home will need to me larger than I am and younger; so medium-sized and larger with a personality that is playful and higher-energy will be best! Sharing attention is something I am still working on; I can't help it-I just love to be loved! Kiddos should be about 6ish and older. I've lived with cats so may do okay with a proper introduction. When my people have to go to work, sometimes I get a little sad; I may bark and cry but I do eventually settle down and sleep nicely in my crate! If you work from home, that is even more awesome! When you come home, I love to go outside! Chasing birdies and squirrels completes my day! Then I like to come back and lay at your feet and soak up the sunshine. I pride myself in being an excellent cuddler. I love to be held. I love toys and walkies but cuddling is my fave. My ideal family would be one where there are people (and kiddos!) who will give me lots of attention-after all, that is my favorite. Napping on someone's lap is also a fave of mine. I am an energetic, smart boy. I know lots of fun behaviors and am always willing to learn more. I love treats so I am very motivated to work for them! I know how to sit, will play fetch for a long time, I listen well to my name and I bark at all the right things! Especially those scary school buses or delivery trucks! They know who the 13-pound, fluffy, adorable, stuffed-animal-look-alike boss is! (Me! Ha ha ha!)
