About Maggie
Meet Maggie! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Maggie is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Maggie is a stunning calico with the softest coat, beautifully sprinkled with the most adorable orange calico spots that make her truly one of a kind. Her coloring alone will steal your heart-but just wait until you meet her. She has a naturally gentle, soothing presence that brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. But don't be fooled-when playtime begins, Maggie lights up like a star! She loves to sneak-attack her brother Jake (M), and their daily wrestling matches are full of energy, fun, and kitten mischief. Maggie was quick to discover the magic of humans. She warms up easily and has learned that people mean snuggles, pets, and the coziest lap time imaginable. Sometimes, she'll even let you cradle her like a baby, completely relaxed and soaking in every bit of affection. Like her brother, Maggie didn't have the easiest start in life and faced several medical challenges early on. Through it all, she showed incredible resilience and strength. Maggie is ~5 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! She's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend. Maggie is the perfect mix of sweet and playful, delicate and string- a truly special little kitten ready to bring warmth, joy, and endless cuddles into her forever home. His littermate/foster sibling is Jake (M) Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
