About Buddy

Meet Buddy! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Buddy is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Buddy is a handsome black-and -white cat with a gentle soul and a heart full of quiet love. After recovering from a horrific hoarder case, buddy is ready for his second chance. He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but don't let that fool you-behind that cautious exterior is a truly sweet and affectionate companion just waiting to blossom. Buddy thrives in a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and take things at his own pace. With a patent and understanding adopter, he will come out of his shell and show you his soft, loving personality. Once he trusts you, you'll discover a loyal friend who enjoys peaceful moments, cozy naps, and simply being near his favorite person. If you're someone who understands that the best bonds take time to grow, Buddy could be the perfect match for you. Give him the chance he deserves, and he'll reward you with a lifetime of quiet companionship and love. Buddy is ~1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! He's does well with other cats and dogs in the foster home. Buddy would need an adult only home, or a home with older kids that can understand that sometimes Buddy needs his own space. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
