Tofu is a solid, affectionate cat who’s made the most of her transition from outdoor life to indoor comfort. She came in off the streets of Houston with her kittens, Bean and Edamame, who are also looking for homes. Quickly adapting to being inside, Tofu now thrives on human attention and isn’t shy about showing it—she’s always ready to curl up in a lap or enjoy a snack. At roughly 13 lbs, she’s on the larger side for a cat, but that just means there’s more of her sweet, friendly personality to go around. Tofu has a gentle disposition that makes her a fit for adoption into most homes. She keeps her litter box tidy and is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and up to date on vaccinations. She’s done well with other cats (especially males) given proper introductions and would also be happy as an only pet. Tofu is food-motivated and might surprise you with how trainable she is. Currently fostered in Houston, Tofu can be adopted both locally and via transport to the Northeast or Pacific Northwest, with costs already included in her adoption fee.
