Reggie (formerly Rocky B, aka “Baseball Player”) needs a committed foster or adopter anywhere in the Northeast. He is currently in New York. Reggie originally came into the Animal Care Centers of NYC as a stray in early 2025. He was adopted and spent nine months in a home before being returned after a collar-handling incident. Since then, he’s been waiting for stability. Despite everything, he loves his people. The good stuff: • Neutered • Crate trained • Housetrained (alerts to go out) • Leash trained • Good in the car • Toy lover • Big couch nap guy • Very people-focused He previously lived with an adult and child and was described as playful and outgoing. Dog note: Reggie has not had a proper dog test outside of the shelter environment, so he will need his own space initially and very slow, structured introductions after a full decompression period. No immediate dog integrations. Hasn’t been tested with cats. He is also currently undergoing a vet assessment for an eye issue, and we will ensure all medical care is handled. He is likely blind in one eye.
