About Nutmeg
Nutmeg was born on September 9, making her a practical and clever Virgo—a detail that explains her knack for figuring things out. She’s still getting used to family life after surviving outside as a young adult, but Nutmeg brings kitten energy everywhere she goes. She’ll patrol your rooms, trill with excitement, and poke her nose into anything that smells like mischief. Nutmeg lights up around other cats and quickly becomes their playmate, chasing and head-butting them with endless curiosity. She may take her time warming up to new people, often watching quietly before inching closer and flopping at your feet for gentle head butts. Nutmeg is highly food-motivated and thrives with scheduled meals. She’s most confident when other cats are nearby, making her an excellent choice for families with existing feline companions. Her current foster home is adult-only, and while her reaction to dogs or small children hasn’t been tested, she’ll likely thrive in a quieter home with patient adopters. Nutmeg is happiest inside and must remain an indoor-only cat—her rescue prohibits declawing. Click apply to start the adoption process.
