Meet our dashing senior boy, Duke. Sadly, this handsome pup found himself in the shelter after his owner passed away. A shelter is no place for an 8-year-old dog, so we rushed right over to bring him into rescue. The shelter staff told us he was sweet and playful, and we couldn’t agree more. Duke is just a wonderful senior who still has a great amount of energy and a real love for life. He enjoys being around people, going for walks, and soaking up all the attention he can get. Duke weighs 82 pounds, so there is plenty of him to love! He’s a gentle, kind boy who deserves a soft bed, a loving home, and a family to call his own again.
