FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Kandy! Kandy is a 2-year-old, 70 lb German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This beautiful, stocky girl is as sweet as her name suggests ~ truly an absolute love! Kandy is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and people-oriented. She just wants to be close to her humans, soaking up love and cuddling whenever she can. With her soft nature and sweet demeanor, she’s the kind of dog that quickly steals your heart. She’s also smart, treat-motivated, and eager to learn, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training. Kandy walks well on leash, does great with both people and other dogs, and has a well-rounded, easygoing personality. Kandy would love a home that includes her in daily life ~ whether that’s walks, outings, or just spending time together. She thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods and can continue to stay well-socialized. Because she’s quite the climber, Kandy will need a securely fenced yard to keep her safe. She would be happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or she could do great with another dog in the home. Kandy has not been tested with cats or children.
