Juno is a 5-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix with a striking brindle coat and a presence that can turn heads. He came to the rescue as a stray from an overcrowded shelter and might look intimidating at first, but he’s a deeply sweet, loving, and devoted companion once he knows you. Juno forms strong bonds and loves being out with his handler, making him the perfect partner for someone active who enjoys adventures and regular walks. Affectionate to his core, Juno thrives on closeness and sometimes can’t resist jumping up for an enthusiastic greeting. Structure and consistency bring out his best: he’s smart, eager to learn, and already has solid basics like sit, down, and a comical “happy spin” at mealtimes. Juno needs a home that will keep up his training and give him both mental and physical outlets. He does best in a standalone house with a fully fenced yard—apartments or condos don’t suit his energy. Juno can get along with other dogs, particularly larger females, as long as introductions are patient and thoughtful. He’d also be fine as the only dog. Because he is enthusiastic and strong, an adult-only home (or one without young children or cats) will fit him best. Juno is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations.
