Meet Luca! This gentle, incredibly intelligent boy is the total package. Luca has a calm, thoughtful nature and is always tuned in to what’s going on around him—he’s the kind of dog who picks things up quickly and loves to engage with his people. He’s playful without being over-the-top and has a special love for tennis balls—whether he’s chasing them around the yard or proudly carrying one around, they’re definitely his favorite. When he’s not playing, Luca is more than happy to soak up attention, especially when it comes to his favorite thing: ear rubs. Give him a few scratches and you’ll have a very happy (and likely very relaxed) pup by your side. Luca does great with both kids and other dogs, showing a friendly, easygoing demeanor that makes him a wonderful companion in a variety of homes. He’s also off to a fantastic start with his routine, sleeping soundly in his crate from 9:30pm to 6am. With his gentle personality, sharp mind, and affectionate nature, Luca is the kind of dog who will form a deep bond with his family and make a loyal, loving addition to any home. Luca is a 3-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Luca is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
