About Snow
Meet Snow, a gentle Pyrenees mix about 1–3 years old, currently settling in near Windsor, CO. She came to Colorado very underweight alongside her sister, but she’s finally filling out and discovering comfort in her foster home. Snow starts off shy, but once she decides she feels safe, she opens up, craving affection and showing her sweet nature. Her soulful eyes and quiet warmth have only grown as her confidence builds each day. Snow does very well with other dogs and especially enjoys the company of a confident canine friend, though that isn’t a dealbreaker. She’s kennel trained, doggy door trained, and will nap and sleep through the night in her crate—a space where she feels secure. An adopter willing to maintain her kennel routine will make her happiest. She’s food motivated, which goes a long way in boosting her trust and training. Leash walking is still a challenge for Snow because of her nerves, but she manages fine on the foster’s larger property. She needs a quiet home with a securely fenced yard; a 6-foot fence is ideal. Older, calm children would suit her best, and with careful introductions, she shows promise for getting along with cats. Currently, she’s being fostered by a professional trainer who specializes in helping shy dogs, and her adopter will receive a free training session to support her progress. She’s already transformed by kindness—she just needs someone patient and loving to guide her into her next chapter. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
