This friendly boy reserves a good chunk of his day for playtime, where he happily tries to catch his favorite fish pole toys with feathers. And catnip? Ilya loves his catnip! Ilya is looking for a laid back home where he can show off his striped fur and endearing personality. He enjoys spending time solo for a good catnap but also being with his people. Once he warms up, he adorably seeks out pets and cheek scratches from his special person. He has not been tested with other pets or kiddos, but think he would do fine with proper introduction. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
