👨‍🍳 Meet Howie- an aspiring purrsonal chef! 👨‍🍳 2-year-old Howie has surveillance ears that can detect food from a mile away! Aside from trying to taste test your food to develop secret recipes of his own, Howie enjoys spending his days hanging in his cat condo, watching the birds, and happily playing with his favorite toys. Howie is looking for a home where he can be your one and only sous chef-pet in the kitchen. He is an outgoing, silly boy with some quirky habits who just needs a human who gets him. For this reason, we recommend no young children for this energetic boy. In return, you get a lovable best friend who will come sit on your lap, relax with you for a brushing session, and slow blink his love for you in the cutest way possible. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
