About Wuby

Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Wuby! Wuby and her brother Lodie, along with their little friend Dora, were rescued from outdoor life during a bitter Arctic Blast at the end of January 2026. Having spent their early days with minimal human interaction, it's understandable that they were initially very shy. However, both have shown tremendous resilience and have thrived in the comfort and warmth of home—quickly adjusting to indoor life and learning what it's like to be part of a family. Now, Wuby is ready for a forever home of her own! Wuby is very comfortable with other small and medium-sized dogs and does well with dog-savvy cats. While she's a bit nervous around larger dogs, she makes up for it with her absolute love for cuddling—her foster mom is treated to daily doses of affection as Wuby tries to make up for lost time. For her next chapter, Wuby would love to have at least one confident dog companion (under 40 lbs) and a secure, fenced yard, as leash walking is still an exciting skill she is yet to master. She is a true "Velcro" pup and will bring lots of love to the right home. As a fun fact, with a birthday on January 31st, Wuby is an Aquarius—known for being clever, curious, and unique, just like her! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
