Meet Daisy Daisy is a 1 year, 3 month old terrier mix weighing approximately 35–40 lbs, with the perfect combination of playful energy, intelligence, and affection. Rescued in September 2025 from a homeless encampment in Upson County alongside members of her family, Daisy has come a long way in foster care and is ready to find a forever home of her own. This happy girl loves being part of the action. She enjoys walks, toys, enrichment activities like her snuffle mat, and keeping a close eye on squirrels — a talent that clearly runs in the family As a young terrier mix, Daisy has medium-to-high energy and would thrive with an adopter who enjoys staying active and continuing her training. She's smart, treat motivated, and eager to engage. Daisy is affectionate, social, and loves being close to her people. After a fun day of play and adventure, she's happiest curled up beside you soaking up pets and attention. She has an expressive, joyful personality and bonds closely with the people she trusts. Like many young, energetic dogs, Daisy can become overstimulated on leash or when greeting dogs through barriers like fences. Because of this, she benefits from slow introductions, thoughtful management, and continued guidance to help her feel successful and confident. She is currently fostered successfully with a 4-year-old male dog and enjoys canine companionship once properly introduced.
