About Tuxedo
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Tuxedo is a handsome 3½-year-old, 58-pound Sheepadoodle with a tender heart and a playful spirit. He is healthy, full of life, and deeply devoted to his people. Beneath his fluffy, medium-length coat is a loving boy who simply wants to feel safe, included, and cherished. He has lived happily with children and other dogs and truly enjoys their company. Tuxedo would be especially thrilled if he could be adopted alongside his best friend Cleopatra, as the two share a close bond and bring out the best in each other. Tuxedo already knows basic commands such as “sit,” “down,” and “come.” He walks well on a leash and would benefit from a bit more practice to refine his skills. While long car rides aren't his favorite due to carsickness, he is perfectly content staying close to home with his favorite people. He may bark at strangers when they first approach—Tuxedo likes to watch over his home. But once he has a moment to warm up, his affectionate nature shines through, and he's quick to lean in for pets or greet new friends with enthusiasm. Currently located at New England Old English Sheepdog Rescue Inc., Tuxedo is eager to start his next chapter with a loving family. If you are seeking a loyal, playful, and devoted companion, Tuxedo could be the perfect addition to your home. Fun fact: With a birthday on June 1st, Tuxedo is a Gemini—a sign renowned for its playful, sociable, and curious nature. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
