About Smith
Let’s make it official, apply to adopt! Spring is the season of fresh starts, and Smith is ready for his! With kitten season upon us, adopting an adult kitty like Smith helps even more cats and kittens find loving homes. By bringing home Smith, you make space for another shelter kitty and get a playful companion, too! Smith is a medium-haired, brown tabby neutered male who had a rough beginning without much care or affection. Despite his challenging start, Smith has blossomed at the shelter and learned how wonderful it can feel to have a full belly and kind company. He loves his wet food, plays energetically with feather toys or other cats, and enjoys gentle pets on his soft, floofy fur. Smith especially thrives in the company of playful feline friends and would be a great fit for a home with an energetic kitty playmate. While he hasn't lived with dogs, he could do well with older children. Smith is happiest as an indoor-only cat and is now seeking a forever home where his playful spirit and gentle heart can continue to shine. Griffith Animal Control and Treasured Friends Rescue believe in giving every kitty a chance, especially those who need patience to adjust to new surroundings. Volunteers help even the shyest cats learn trust, and adopters are encouraged to give time and patience so these deserving animals can truly flourish. Smith is looking for someone ready for a long-term commitment and will make a loyal and loving companion for the right home. Your new best friend is just one click away.
