About Marge
For years, Marge roamed the Old Hickory Blvd area, always staying just out of reach and living entirely on her own. This clever seven-year-old German Shepherd mix learned to survive without people—until one persistent, gentle neighbor finally earned her trust. In a quiet, simple moment, Marge chose to walk inside, and her life changed for good. Since then, Marge has started to blossom. She’s gentle, soulful, and growing more affectionate as she learns about love, safety, and comfort. Still, her past makes her a bit cautious. Marge needs a secure fenced yard to explore, and a patient, loving adopter who will continue helping her build confidence. She’s not suited for homes with small kids, as she can be jumpy around little ones. Marge is seven and has outgrown the chaos of puppy life—she just wants calm, soft places to rest and people she can trust. She is kennel trained, doing well with leash practice, and looking for a family committed to her care. She’s heartworm positive, but treatment will be entirely covered; she just needs someone to make sure she gets to her appointments. After years of independence, Marge is ready to finally just be loved. Click apply to start the adoption process.
