Gigi is a senior female German Shepherd Dog mix with a large build and a medium-length black and tan coat. She is spayed, fully house trained, and her vaccinations are up to date. Gigi is currently in Bolivar, TN, looking for a calm, patient family to call her own.

About Gigi

Gigi spent her earliest years in the shelter after being found on rural land, scared and unsure. Life improved when a dedicated volunteer took her in as a foster, and for over three years, Gigi enjoyed the security of that home. Unfortunately, her foster could no longer care for her, so Gigi returned to the shelter. She’s still shy at first but is noticeably more social and open than before. This beautiful German Shepherd mix is fully house trained and up-to-date on all vet care. Gigi thrives in a quiet, calm environment with a patient family willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She gets along with both dogs and cats, preferring the peace of a gentle home. Give her the chance to finally settle in for good. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!

Questions about Gigi

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Gigi, as a German Shepherd Dog mix, will feel most at home in a calm environment with a stable routine. These dogs often do well in a peaceful household where they have space to relax and get comfortable.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Being a German Shepherd Dog mix, Gigi will appreciate having a yard to lounge or play in, but she’s a senior and likely values comfort more than long runs. Daily walks and a secure, relaxing area outside suit her best.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Gigi’s breed is generally good with children if properly socialized, but given her shy nature and preference for calm, she would be best in a home with older kids who respect her space.
