**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Thatcher! 🐾 Sometimes you hear a dog’s backstory and think, “How can a dog be so forgiving?” That is the case for Thatcher. He was found living under cars near local shops, covered in scars. Later, X-rays revealed pellets scattered throughout his body. After experiencing such cruelty it’s surprising that Thatcher is warming up to anyone at all, and it's truly wonderful to watch him learn to trust each of his caretakers. Thatcher requires love and patience, and once he feels comfortable with you, it’s the greatest feeling in the world. He enjoys treats and gentle, encouraging pets. There will be a lot of patience needed to earn the love and trust of humans again overall, and we see progress in his demeanor with each promising new day.
