About Xylo

Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Xylo, a distinguished older gentleman who found his way to the shelter in July 2023 through no fault of his own. At over 7 years old, this large, brown brindle and white Mastiff mix weighs in at 66 pounds and is a true shadow dog, happiest when he's right by your side soaking up affection. Xylo is eager to please and already knows sit, paw, and down, making him a charming companion with a gentle heart. Though Xylo adores his people, he can be selective with other dogs and is recommended as the only pet in the home. Because of his strength and size, a home without small children is best. Recently, Xylo had a suspicious growth removed but, happily, it was benign, and he's back to acting like a puppy! If you’re looking for a loyal friend to be by your side, Xylo awaits the chance to share his love in a forever home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
