Xylo is an older Mastiff mix who has called the shelter home since July 2023 after his previous owner faced a housing crisis. Now over 7 years old and weighing in at 66 lbs, Xylo sticks close—he’s a true shadow dog always eager for attention and affection. He’s picked up sit, paw, and down, eager to make his person happy. This big guy can be selective with other dogs and is best as the only pet in the household. Because of his strength and size, a home without small children fits him best. Recently, Xylo had a suspicious growth removed. Thankfully, it turned out to be benign, and he’s bounced right back, ready to bring energy and companionship to the right home.
