Meet Roxie! Roxie is an adorable little Shih Tzu girl, about 2 years old and just 9 pounds. She’s a true gem—happy, funny, and full of sweet, playful energy! Roxie loves people and gets along great with other dogs. She currently sleeps in a crate but would much rather snuggle up with her person or a doggy sibling. While not a clingy lap dog, she’s very affectionate and always likes to relax close by. She enjoys short bursts of playtime (including zoomies!) followed by curling up on a cozy couch, chair, or dog bed. Roxie loves walks, being outdoors, and riding in the car. She’s doing very well with house training and understands that potty time is outside. She can be a little sensitive to loud noises but is improving every day. Roxie sleeps through the night, rarely barks, and is an easy, wonderful companion. Roxie would do best in a calm home, ideally with another dog and someone home most of the day. Due to her small size, a home without young children is preferred. Adoption $500 All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc. If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
