Thor is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish him as a family member. He is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want his transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Thor can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life—in the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Thor is never without a safety net; he will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until his perfect home is found. He has the stunning coat of a cattle dog, the friendly face of a Lab, and the adorable "low-rider" legs of a Corgi. He’s the perfect medium-sized companion, sturdy enough for big adventures, but compact enough to fit perfectly on your sofa. The Ultimate Social Butterfly Thor is a "lover of all." He lived successfully with a 2-year-old child and was a complete gentleman. He is a social superstar who absolutely adores other dogs! In his previous home, Thor just wanted to play, play, play—but his senior dog roommates preferred a quieter life. Thor is looking for a home where his enthusiasm for life is celebrated, perhaps with a playful canine sibling who can keep up with his "low-rider" zoomies! Adventure & Sunshine If there is a patch of sun, Thor will find it! This boy lives for outdoor time, whether he’s patrolling the yard or working on his tan. While he is a strong walker who pulls on the leash (he’s just excited to see the world!), he is a dream in the car. Thor rides beautifully outside of a crate, acting as the ultimate co-pilot for road trips or quick runs to the hardware store. An Active Pack: Whether it’s a family with respectful kids or another dog, Thor wants to be part of the action. Thor is a resilient, happy-go-lucky guy who doesn't realize he's "short"—he just knows he has a lot of love to give. His adoption includes: Fully Vetted: Thor is already neutered and up-to-date on all his essential vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP series, and Bordetella). Prevention: He has been dewormed, is heartworm negative, and is kept on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Safety First: To ensure he is in tip-top shape for his new family, he will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate—all performed within 10 days of his transport date. Adoption Details Thor's adoption fee is $900. This fee is all-inclusive, covering his neuter, all veterinary care listed above, and his seat on a professional transport service dedicated to getting him safely to your area.
