Gerry is an awesome 8-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on October 27, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found him on Harmar Street in Marietta Ohio. Gerry was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. This handsome guy has a brown tabby shorthaired coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable chubby face with green/gold eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on his muzzle, and long white whiskers. Gerry has the sweetest, most lovable personality and is 'cool, calm, and collected'. This big boy loves attention which he receives on a daily basis from our HSOV Feline Kennel Techs .. Gerry enjoys out-of-cage time while cages are being cleaned and follows his favorite people (i.e., kennel techs) around like a puppy dog most mornings. Gerry was given vaccinations, dewormer, and flea treatment on November 6, 2025. He weighed 10.3 lbs when he entered our shelter on October 27th. Gerry was given booster vaccines on November 22, 2025. Gerry had a dental procedure with one of our wonderful local veterinarians on February 3, 2026 and had several teeth extracted. He was also given rabies vaccine that day. We had hoped to have Gerry neutered when he was taken to a spay/neuter clinic on March 9, 2026. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a bad kitty cold (upper respiratory infection), so he ended up with an antibiotic prescription instead of being neutered. We will make Gerry another appointment for his neuter surgery when he finished his medication. Gerry would love to find a home with a family or individual who would give him the attention that he enjoys so much and who would spoil him to his heart's content.
