Yeller is a magnificent 5-year old male kitty who was brought to the HSOV on February 26, 2026 for a very sad reason because his mistress had passed away recently. Yeller and his nine housemates (Babe, Cotton, Kiki, Peanut, Simba, Sweetie Bell, Tj, Ty, and Zoey) were very much loved. They cannot understand why they lost the freedom of their home and are now in small cages while they wait for new homes of their very own. Yeller has an orange tabby short-haired coat with a patch of white on his neck/throat, a long ringed tail, and a handsome face with golden eyes, a dusting of white on his muzzle, a pink nose, and extra-long white whiskers. This good-looking boy has a sweet, easygoing personality and isn't just another pretty face (though his face is actually quite beautiful). Yeller is good with other cats, children, and dogs. Yeller was given vaccinations, flea treatment, and Drontal dewormer on February 28, 2026. These photos were taken on March 4th 2026 when HSOV Volunteer Wendy Irvin and HSOV Kennel Techs Lauryn Hamilton and Madison Lee assisted Yeller and his companions with their first photos. Yeller was very relaxed while he gave us his best regal 'cool, calm, and collected' poses .. And was quite charismatic when he rolled over on his back for belly rubs. Yeller was neutered on March 9, 2026 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 8.4 lbs that day.
