Initial Evaluation – Rando. Rando is a handsome black and white boy with a unique story. He is a tripod kitty, meaning he has only three legs, but he manages well and still has plenty of potential to be a wonderful companion. During his evaluation, Rando was understandably a bit fearful in the shelter environment, which can be overwhelming for many cats. However, once he settled down—especially after eating—he began to relax and allowed gentle pets. While spending time with him, Rando even meowed back while being sweet-talked, almost as if he was having a little conversation. This shows he is responsive and aware of people around him. With patience and a calm environment, he seems likely to continue building confidence. Rando appears to be a sensitive cat who just needs time to feel safe. With kindness, patience, and a quiet home, he has the potential to blossom into a very sweet companion. . (Rando's back left leg was deformed, and part of it was amputated.
