About Buttercup
Meet Buttercup & Domino — a sweet, bonded pair ready to find their home together! Buttercup is a 7-year-old, 55-pound cream-colored girl with a gentle, friendly nature. She knows "sit," enjoys petting and brushing, and will soak up all the attention you can give her! While not very interested in toys, she shines in calm companionship. She has shown polite, relaxed behavior when meeting other dogs, greeting with loose body language and friendly tail wags. Domino is an 8-year-old, 26-pound black, white, and tan boy with an affectionate and slightly spunky personality. He can be enthusiastic when meeting other dogs, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dog is recommended. Together, they balance each other beautifully and are looking for a home where they can stay side by side, sharing their love and companionship! These two are a bonded pair who can’t imagine life without each other, so they’ll need to be adopted together. To help make that happen, only one adoption fee applies! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! If you'd like to meet our available animals, please check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours! Both of our locations are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalshelter/adopt
