Pet Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I'd love to show off all the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: - I am enrolled in Confidence College. This is a program for dogs to build confidence and learn that the world is not so scary. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - I am from a hoarding situation. I will likely need extra time to adjust to home life. I have lived with other dogs but have not socialized with people. Things like walking on a leash and going through doorways can be challenging for me. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding, but I need time to learn. - I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I need a home with kids 6 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - A fenced yard is a must for me! I do not know how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks. - I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. - Special Request from Talia: For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar.
