SATURDAY, MARCH 14 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT AT the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! ——————— This big handsome guy is RUSSELL! Russell is a 90 lb bundle of sweetness. He's just a year old, but he's pretty mellow and easy going. He's good with other dogs. He's goofy and good natured and he'll be a wonderful companion for someone who loves big dogs! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
