Ivy came to us through our humane agents in a neglect case. She was left behind in a frozen home, completely skin and bones. The pipes burst in the home she was left in, so this sweet girl was in an icy prison until thankfully the landlord found her. We are so thankful that she made it, considering the negative temperatures and having no meat on her bones to help retain body heat.  Ivy spent some time in our care gaining weight and overcoming several obstacles with her health. Now that she has been given the all clear, she is finally ready to find the loving home she has always deserved. Ivy is the absolute sweetest girl with people, and she is currently untested with other animals. We would be happy to cat test or do a meet and greet with another dog upon request of an approved applicant. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and is the biggest snuggle bug. She can't wait to find a warm couch to snuggle on with her humans.  Ivy is long overdue for the good life, and can't wait to find her family soon!
