Hi friends, I'm Peaches I'm a 6-year-old Belgian Malinois weighing about 35 lbs, and I'm a sweet girl who loves meeting new people. I'm gentle with kids, do great with other dogs, and I really enjoy being part of the action with my humans. I can get a little excited sometimes (I might jump to say hello), but I listen when I'm told "no" and try my best to be a good girl. I was raised around free-range bunnies and did just fine with them, but chickens and I don't mix very well, and the humans are still figuring out how I feel about cats. But today I wanted to share something a little bigger than just my story. Every dog in rescue has a story. Some of us were found wandering, some were surrendered when our families couldn't keep us, and some of us just needed a second chance. When rescues step in, they give dogs like me something incredibly important: time, safety, and the chance to be seen for who we really are. You see, dogs like me, especially breeds like Belgian Malinois are incredibly loyal, intelligent, and people-focused. We thrive when we're given structure, purpose, and a family who understands our needs. Malinois are known for being smart, devoted, and active dogs who love having a job to do and being part of their human's world. With the right home, we become some of the most loyal companions you could ask for. Rescue isn't just about finding homes for dogs.
