Meet Kuma Kuma is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu weighing about 20 lbs with a big personality and an even bigger heart for his people. This sweet boy is visually impaired, but with a little time to learn his surroundings, he navigates life just fine and quickly becomes comfortable in his environment. Because his eyesight is limited, Kuma likes to stay close to his people and will often follow you around like a little shadow, using sound to know where you are. As long as he knows you're nearby, he's happy to settle down and relax right next to you. Kuma loves companionship and enjoys having a dog buddy around, especially one who doesn't mind his affectionate nature. He's also a big fan of cuddling and sleeping in bed with his humans, making him a wonderful snuggle partner. He is potty trained, but does best in a home where someone is around most of the day so he can stick to his routine and get outside regularly. Kuma isn't the biggest fan of having his feet touched, so wearing booties when he goes outside helps keep things easy when it's time to come back in.
