About Milo
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet milo, a striking Norfolk Terrier mix with a warm red coat and an irresistible, gentle spirit. Weighing 14.5 pounds, milo is perfectly suited for those looking for a small-to-medium sized companion who will thrive in a happy, loving home. His early days were challenging, as he came from a hoarding environment with 29 other dogs, so he can be shy with new people at first. However, once you've shown patience and kindness, you'll witness his affectionate side emerge as he begins to trust and open up. Milo's resilience is remarkable. Although he tested positive for heartworm previously due to lack of early prevention, he has completed treatment and just needs a bit more medication to see him fully recover. He shares his affection generously with other dogs and values their companionship, making him a great addition to a multi-dog household. His intelligence and eagerness to bond are apparent, especially as he learns new experiences like walking confidently on a leash. With continued gentle guidance and reassurance, milo will blossom into an incredibly loving and loyal family member. If you're looking to give a deserving pup a loving forever home, milo truly deserves a second chance. He is currently located in Texas but can travel to many cities in the U.S. to join your family, so you can help milo start his new life full of love wherever you are. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
