I came from a shelter where I was on the euthanasia list, but I got a second chance when I was transferred here. I’m really grateful to be safe now, and I’m ready to find a home of my own. I’m a Basenji mix and, if I may say so, a very sweet girl. I’ve really come out of my shell and now greet people with lots of tail wags right away! I get along well with other dogs and have done great with everyone I’ve met. I’m a spunky, playful girl who loves attention and interaction. I can get a little bouncy when I’m excited—I may jump and do some playful “love nips,” which is just my way of having fun and showing affection. Because of this, I’d do best with older, considerate kids who understand dog behavior and can help me keep learning good manners. I still have a gentle side and would do well in many different homes. I just need someone kind who will continue to guide me and give me the love I’ve been waiting for. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, 4dx test negative, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and microchipped—so I’m all ready to head home whenever you are. My adoption fee is $400.
