About Miya
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Miya, the playful and affectionate mama who is finally ready for her forever home. At just 2 years old, this 38-lb husky mix had a challenging start—she was found pregnant and alone, but once safe, she gave birth to five puppies and dedicated herself to raising them. Now her maternal duties are behind her and it's her time to find the love and security she deserves. Miya is completely house trained and does wonderfully with respectful children 15 and older, plus she thrives around playful canine friends—she’d absolutely love a dog sibling to share her goofy energy. She’s a true fun-lover, with a penchant for zoomies, play sessions, and amassing a collection of favorite toys, especially her beloved antlers. When it’s time to relax, Miya transforms into a cuddly couch buddy, content to snuggle up for a movie night or enjoy the calming sounds of music or TV when left alone. She’s not a fan of crates and is quite the jumper, but she’s never destructive. While she pulls a bit on leash, she does best in a harness and is steadily learning that car rides can be enjoyable—especially if there’s a pup cup involved. Miya knows her basic commands like Sit, Down, and Stay, and she adores her humans wholeheartedly, bringing joy and warmth wherever she goes. She is beautiful, silly, loving, and more than ready for the devoted family she deserves. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
