Hi! My name is Fred! I'm a male tricolor beagle. I'm about 1 year old or so. I'm an active guy, as you might expect! I'm also calm & easygoing! I'll attach to a person quickly! I love to cuddle with my person! I lived with an 8-year old autistic child for a little while, & I did great with her! I'm playful! I loved to play with the young teenager in my most recent home. I especially like to play with my bone. I'm housetrained! I'll nudge you when I need to go outside or I'll sit by the door. I love car rides! I'll jump right in! When I get on a scent, I really want to go with it. Sometimes I act up around other animals (like other dogs) - but sometimes I'm fine. I'm not good with cats, & I'm not good with some other dogs. So I might do best as the only animal in a home. I can be protective of my person around strangers. So I probably need a person who has some good dog skills. When I went to the vet recently, I had an ear infection. They hurt pretty bad, so the vet had to put a muzzle on me in in order to clean them. My ears are still pretty sensitive. I'm already up-to-date on vaccines & I'll be neutered before I'm adopted. If you think you're the right home for me, please think about making me part of your family!
