About Otis

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Otis! This charming two-year-old, 50-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix has bounced back from a tough start and is ready to share his radiant new coat and loving personality with his forever family. Thanks to his foster, Otis has made a remarkable recovery from a severe skin condition and now sparkles inside and out. With his sweet, goofy nature, Otis is sure to steal your heart—he adores people and will gently remind you to keep petting him if you stop too soon. Otis shines as a socially polite companion to dogs of all sizes, warming up quickly and playing beautifully with respectful canine manners. He’d thrive with a doggy sibling in a moderately active home that appreciates both bursts of play and quieter moments. On leash, he walks like a pro (with just a bit of initial excitement), and he loves car rides and even bath time. Fully housebroken, crate trained, and happy to settle with a Kong, Otis has shown no signs of separation anxiety, food aggression, or resource guarding. While he hasn't been around cats or children, his size and exuberant nature mean dog-savvy older kids would be the best fit. Otis is eager to make someone very happy, bringing endless love, laughter, and gentle paw taps to the special family who welcomes him home. Fun fact: Otis was born on October 18, making him a Libra—no wonder he’s such a sweet and balanced soul! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
